This Piercing Clip set is well suited for automotive diagnostics. The spring loaded clips enable a fast and reliable connection to a wide range of wire types and sizes (.060-inch diameter (22 AWG) to large .200-inch diameter (10 AWG). The single piercing blade sinks into the insulation neatly and leaves a neat self-healing pin prick in the insulation that doesn't affect the cables construction or performance.
The Piercing probe is small enough to access individual wires in large bundles or inaccessible cable looms. The robust design gives this hard wearing product a long shelf life in severe and constant service.
The 4mm rotating banana jack at the rear prevents the test lead from twisting. The clips accept Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters and banana plug test leads.
